The Saudi Minister of Transport, Chairman of the General Authority of Transport, Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser, confirmed that preparations are underway for the return of international flights by land and sea through all ports of the Kingdom, starting from the first of next July, taking all measures to prevent the Corona pandemic.
Al-Jasser noted a press statement carried by the Saudi News Agency, the importance of integration with all transport users to overcome the challenges of the stage by their cooperation, sensing responsibility, adhering to the necessary precautions and returning with caution.
He emphasized the readiness of the transportation system and all its facilities and installations for the next stage by its commitment to the necessary precautions and commitment to the rational leadership directives that put human health as a top priority.
He noted the lifting of the curfew in the Kingdom completely and a return to normal conditions, pointing to the Kingdom's leadership's support for all governmental and private sectors in general and the transport sector in particular throughout this crisis.
He stressed that this support contributed to the completion of many safety works with total lengths of two million and 770 thousand meters in various regions of the Kingdom and other cleaning and maintenance work during curfew hours.
